Chaudigital HK launches Impressions HK joint exhibition with Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-Fat & Dr Leo Wong

On 9th March 2009 Chaudigital HK helped launch a joint black & white photographic exhibition with renowned HK actor and long-time photographic enthusiast Chow Yun-Fat, bringing a taste of European quality fine art printing to Hong Kong. Chow, working with Chaudigital HK's very own Danny Chau, a fine art photographic printer who has worked in London for more than 26 years, launched the exhibition with Dr Leo Wong, a renowned photographer in HK. Members of the press were invited, as well as delegations and representatives from Epson HK, HK's Leisure and Cultural Services Department, The Photographic Society of Hong Kong, and The Photographic Salon Exhibitors Association.

The joint exhibition, which is expected to last until 19th March, is situated at the Hong Kong Central Library in the main Exhibition Gallery. Spanning an area of three halls, it is sponsored by Epson HK and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the government of Hong Kong. Taking approximately 6 months to complete from initial concept to final opening, the exhibition showcases work from both artists than spanned a period of over 30 years depicting the life of Hong Kong. Excepting Dr Leo Wong's work which was handled by another exhibition partner, all work by Chow was digitised, stylised and printed by Chaudigital HK.

*as of 19th March 2009 visitors for the exhibit totalled over 11,000 over the 10 days, which was the highest ever in history for the venue
